The National Press Association

Privacy Policy

What we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This policy explains what information The National Press Association (“NPA,” “we”) collects through pressassociation.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

When you submit a form, we also record your IP address, your browser and device type (user agent), the page you came from, and the time. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes visitor traffic to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, so it sees visitor IP addresses and may set cookies needed for that purpose.

How we use it

Who can see it

We do not sell the information you submit through our forms.

Third-party content

Our pages load fonts and icons from third-party content delivery networks, including Google Fonts and cdnjs. When your browser loads them, those providers receive your IP address and browser information under their own policies.

Cookies and analytics

We do not currently run advertising cookies or third-party analytics on these pages. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

Your choices

How long we keep information

We keep application and newsletter records for as long as needed to run the membership and meet legal obligations, and we delete them on request where the law allows.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We will post changes here and update the date below. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page.
